January 2017 – Oculoplastic Surgery

This mission was the third oculoplastic surgery and DCR mission at Oudomxay Provincial Hospital and the first time dacryocustorhinostomy was performed by Endo DCR in Laos. September 2016 – Cataract Surgery by Phaco

The primary focus for this mission was the training of two local ophthalmologists to perform cataract surgery by phacoemulsification technique on a machine donated by Lao Rehabilitation Foundation.  During this mission, 274 patients were examined and surgery performed on by phacoemulsification on 44 patients.
