This is the first time a mobile health care team visited Ban Khouang Health Center in Namor District, Oudomxay province. The team was staffed by Lao physicians, dentists and nurses.

It includes 3 Lao Loum villages, 3 Khmou villages, 2 Hmong villages and 1 Akha village. The health center is located at 28 Km from Namor city and is accessible by dirt road only. There are 6 nurses at the health center, no doctors and medical supplies are severely limited.
