In cooperation with Oudomxay Hospital, Lao Rehabilitation Foundation has agreed to provide support for health care in remote areas of Oudomxay Province. September 2010

Rural communities get free health care checks, treatment and medicine. In September 2010, a team of Lao doctors organized and financed by LRF visited the Bounneua and Bountai districts of Phongsaly province in Northern Laos. The mobile medical team offered free eye, ear nose and throat, dental, and pediatric care and echography scanning was provided for expectant mothers. Maknao Health Care Center

In Late 2004, the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation proposed plans for the construction of a new Health Care Center in the village of Maknao where it acquired land for that purpose in July 2004. The land, conveniently located on the bank of the river in the center of the village was donated to the foundation by four local families. The Sissatanak Hospital Plastic Surgery Project Since 2004, the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation provided support to doctors at Sissatanak District Hospital for their education in plastic surgery. The foundation sponsored and organized the logistics of sending a team of American doctors to Vientiane to provide further training to local surgeons. Simmano Health Care Center

In early 2002, the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation, Inc. developed plans for the construction of a new health care facility to replace an old inadequate dispensary. Entirely funded by the foundation, the new building was handed-over to the people of Simmano on April 26, 2003.
