January-February 2020 – Eye Care in Remote Areas

This mission was a partnership between the Eye Care Unit of Oudomxay Provincial Hospital and Lao Rehabilitation Foundation (LRF) in association with SEE International to provide health care for cataract surgery, short optometry training and screening vision for student at school for 10 days, January 27 to February 08, 2020.

October 2018 – Mobile Eye Care

September 2016 – Cataract Surgery by Phaco

The primary focus for this mission was the training of two local ophthalmologists to perform cataract surgery by phacoemulsification technique on a machine donated by Lao Rehabilitation Foundation.  During this mission, 274 patients were examined and surgery performed on by phacoemulsification on 44 patients. Somchan & Lina
