MAY 2023 – MOBILE EYE CARE MISSION FOR CATARACT SURGERY, REFRACTION AND DONATION OF GLASSES IN PHONGSALY PROVINCE.
This preventive eye care mission was a partnership between the Oudomxay and Phongsaly Provincial Public Health Departments in cooperation with the Lao Rehabilitation Foundation (LRF) and See Eye Expedition International (SEE). It was conducted in two districts of Phongsaly Province and at Oudomxay Provincial Hospital. 662 patients were examined, surgery was provided for to 125 patients and 328 pairs of glasses were distributed.
